Academic credit in IPSL programs is awarded for the demonstrated learning (papers, journals, presentations, and examinations), not for the service alone. Academic work is submitted to the in-country faculty in the program and is graded according to familiar academic criteria. Grades and credits on the transcript are based on the U.S. semester-hour system. A transcript is issued by the host institution shortly after the program, and IPSL sends an official copy to the student’s home institution as well as a copy to the student.
Information for students regarding the credit transfer process is provided on this site. We are happy to provide more information, such as syllabi or your institution’s sending history, to facilitate the process. Please contact IPSL for more information.
